Jazz/Blues/Live music Club. ***Douala is the largest city in Cameroon and its economic capital. The local indigenous language is Duala, which shares its name with the city. The Duala people belong to a larger ethnic group called the Sawa people. French and English are official languages in Cameroon, but Douala is primarily francophone. The Duala people are known for their food and music. The most famous is Makossa music which Manu Dibango is famous for and which Michael Jackson copied from. Mama say mama sa Ma Ma Makosa!!!

✔ Traveling from Douala to Bafoussam. Bafoussam is the largest city in the West province where the city of Foumban (city hosting the Nguon festival) is located.✔ Frequent short stops on the road to enjoy the stunning view and take pictures.✔ Visit to the Bafoussam kingdom palace.
✔ Visit to the Bamoun Kingdom Palace. ✔ Visit to the Bamoun Kingdom Museum.
✔ Naming ceremony. During this ceremony, any traveler Bamoun descendant will receive a “birth certificate” from the Bamoun kingdom.✔ Lunch at the residence of one of the local dignitaries. ✔ One-on-one with the King of the Bamoun people,His Majesty Nabil Mforifum Mbombo N

✔ Visit other tourist sites. i.e the Art City, the “Seven Stones of Njimom” (where the Bamoun dynasty was founded in the 14th century), the Mount Mbapit (an ancient volcano which rises to an altitude of nearly 1988 meters.)… ✔ Dinner at a Kingdom dignitary residence✔ Shopping day (take advantage of this “relax” day to purchase your souvenirs as it is going to get really busy starting tomorrow).

Day 7: Friday 12/6 - Day 8: Saturday 12/7
✔ Nguon Festival 2024 launching ceremony✔ After the Friday prayer at the Mosque, the King returns to His palace. It is a rich cultural event filled with colors, excitement, dances, and traditional music that you can not miss!✔ Visit at the Village Nguon (the official site of the festival featuring art learning workshop stations, souvenirs shops, restaurants, etc)✔ Lunch at village Nguon✔ Shopping at Village Nguon✔ Dinner at a Kingdom dignitary house or at Café Royal

Day 9 : Sunday 12/8 - Day 10: Monday 12/9
✔ Early morning ceremony: We go to war! This is the moment where the Bamoun people simulate a typical war in year 1300. Remember to purchase your fake weapons i.e arrows at the village Nguon the day before.✔ Back to the hotel.✔ Free day for all.✔ Traveling from Foumban to Limbe.✔ Check into the hotel and lunch.✔ Chill at the beach for the rest of the day. ✔ Free day for all: Chill in your room, go for a walk, call your family, or come party with us and see Limbe by night.*** Limbe is a beach town in western Cameroon. It's known for its black sand beaches and Atlantic surf. The famous Limbe Botanic Garden has a herbarium and diverse plant species.
